Working with Scott Taylor was absolutely amazing, both as an artist/extremely creative individual and a client. Scott hired me to create a single landing page to help market the launch of his book, Jacob and The Cloak. On this particular project, a lot of the brand styling was pretty much already there for me, I just took aspects of his book and digitized it for the web.
I wanted the book to be the centerpiece so I made it a point to use the illustrations that he hand drew and painted for the book throughout this beautiful single page site. To demonstrate a little about what the book deals with, I coupled his illustrations with quotes he supplied from the book. All of that along with testimonials, an about the author section, and a very easy and clear call to action for people to sign-up makes the site something enjoyable to look at (like his book) but also extremely functional and results-focused.
